The program “Huni Oppa,” which consists of riding tour bikes for a city tour around Gwangju City has been very popular among residents and domestic and international tourists.

“Huni Oppa” is a business cooperated with Gwangju Ecobike under the theme of traveling around the city on tour bikes to visit popular tourist attractions in Gwangju including Culture Village of Modern Times in Yangrimdong which is linked to asian culture complex, Daein Art Market, Chungjangno, and Cafe streets of Dongmyeong-dong.

“Huni Oppa,” facilitates the role of a friendly guide and holds fascinating events to tell stories of Bitgoeul village to the tourists visiting Gwangju. Also, it offers a photo zone, cafe street tour, and traditional market food tour.

Gwangju City has been developing and operating differentiated city tour courses and programs in Gwangju that links storytelling with various tour attractions including culture hall, cultural art, local festivals, food and shopping, and extraordinary scenery.

In particular, the Culture Village of Modern Times in Yangnimdong has been established as a tour course and “Teenage Rider” has been developed for job creation this year through a tourist preference survey. In addition, the asian culture complex known as the landmark of Gwangju and the major festival called “Fringe Festival” being actively publicized.
